Accommodations in Ocotal vary between a selection of middle to upper range options. However, 5 minutes,away from Playa Ocotal lies the popular beach town of Playas del Coco where those on a tight budget or looking for some action, may find much more affordable, restaurants, bars, luxury and budget hotels, discos, casinos, and plenty of nightlife fun. A little farther than Coco Beach is Conchal beach where visitors can obtain a day pass for use of the Playa Conchal resort grounds and access to its world-class golf course.

Fun fact:
You can rent snorkel equipment, kayaks, and canoes at Ocotal by the entrance of the beach near Father Rooster.There’s also a rope swing on the right side that is a fun little extra. It’s in the trees so unfortunately you can’t jump into the ocean which would be soo cool but it’s still a really fun attraction for the kids
