If you are a nature lover and are looking for a place off the beaten track, head south from Montezuma, on the Peninsula of Nicoya, and follow the scenic dirt road that passes by steep-sloped tropical jungle with huge boulders covered by roots of strangler figs and vines. Reach the coast and continue on your way to Cabuya (which is the same road that heads to the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve).
